Insulate your attic with rolls of Rockwool Roulrock kraft rockwool insulation – any thickness (sold by the pallet)
Rockwool insulation for lost attic space
To insulate your attic quickly, Roulrock kraft wool insulation rolls are ideal. Once opened, they virtually unroll themselves and are laid directly onto your attic slab. What’s more, these Rockwool insulations have good thermal resistance and are covered with a polyethylene kraft vapour barrier. To enhance the insulation’s thermal performance, you can also opt for a double-layer installation.
These products are sold by the pallet. Please consult the table of part numbers and packaging below.
Product advantages :
– Quick and easy to install
– Thermal performance
IMPORTANT
In order to unload pallets, you must be equipped with lifting equipment. If you don’t have one, we can rent you a self-unloading truck at a cost of €350 plus delivery charges.
Thermal performance of insulation
The thermal performance of insulation is measured by its thermal conductivity and thickness. These two parameters will determine its thermal resistance R. The greater this resistance, expressed in m2K/W, the more efficient the insulation. It is obtained by dividing the thickness (in meters) by the lambda thermal conductivity (i.e. the quantity of heat W/m.K that can be transferred). The smaller the λ value, the more insulating the material, for an equal thickness) of the material in question. Above a thermal resistance of 0.5 m2 K/W, a material is considered to be insulating.
A healthy, recyclable material
Rockwool insulation is made from 97% mineral material (volcanic rock) and the remaining 3% recycled material, which means that Rockwool insulation has a beneficial effect on the environment. In fact, the company recycles 98% of all production waste (including 100% of wool waste). The very long product lifespan and the production process save money and reduce air pollution. What’s more, as the products are manufactured in France, international road transport is limited, thus reducing CO2 emissions. And last but not least, the all-mineral composition of this material prevents the development of termites, offering these insulations an additional advantage.
